METRO PROPERTIES MANAGEMENT, DUSSELDORF

The existing building was totally core removed and on 3 levels reorganised and designed to suit nearly 300 work spaces on 8,000 m². The lighting concept tries to balance between work space and communication areas which are integrated in the open space office layout. To increase awareness work spaces are illuminated with a cool colour temeprature of 4,000 K and the meetig areas for relaxation with 3,000 K warmwhite. Screens were made of piled-up yellow Metro boxes which are equipped with LEDs to visually protect some of work spaces from the walking areas.
