LABOR DR. WISPLINGHOFF, COLOGNE

The Dr. Wisplinghoff laboratory first became known to many through the Covid-19 tests, but has been an institution in the field of medical diagnostics for 40 years. The new company building was given a spacious reception hall over three floors. The lighting concept was to emphasise the spaciousness of the hall, highlight the architectural features and make a clear statement with the company colour green at various points. We approached the final result in numerous renderings and samples. Only the screen wall, which conceals a connecting door behind it, was realised as a slat construction, which was given indirect dynamic lighting.
