For decades, there was no explicit staircase lighting in the beautiful 1950s building. To avoid unsightly cables, which would also have meant costly conversion work, we opted for the highly flexible Plusminus system from Spanish manufacturer Vibia. The opal glass spheres of different sizes are placed on the textile strip with integrated conductors that swings freely in the stairwell, playfully illuminating the airspace over three floors.
