With the onset of the Covid epidemic, we were commissioned to develop a new lighting concept for the venerable hotel with upscale gastronomy.
Several conference rooms with variable use as well as three ballrooms were equipped with diverse lighting systems, allowing the entire range of moods from a concentrated conference situation with cooler, activating light colours to a festive gala atmosphere in warm white light.
Directly afterwards, around 1000 square metres were redesigned on the ground floor. This area includes the reception, a shop area, breakfast zone, bar and fireside lounge as well as the spacious restaurant for sophisticated tastes.
Since spacious glass facades create a completely different atmosphere in the rooms during the day than when it is dark, we have used luminaires with LEDs as far as possible, which can change their light colour from 3000K to 1800K when dimmed down, i.e. their light becomes warmer and more golden yellow, just like incandescent or halogen lamps in the past. We also paid attention to very good colour rendering so that the high-quality food and beverages can be perceived brilliantly and in true colours for the connoisseurs, as can be seen in the detailed photos.
